"These woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."
Robert Frost, Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening (via rauchwolken)
No but this is so important because when I was younger I was having severe confidence issues and I would think about suicide all the time and this part of this poem meant everything to me because I related it to suicide. It can look like an easy way to end the pain (these woods are lovely, dark, and deep) but I have people who need me(but I have promises to keep) and so many things I have to experience in my lifetime (and miles to go before I sleep)
this makes me love this poem even more to see how it’s influenced people
"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold; when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade"
"And i knew it was bad
when i woke up in the mornings
and the only thing i looked
forward to was going
back to bed."
"To be loved, I think, is the thing that gets you up in the morning"
“Do I attract you?
Do I repulse you with my queasy smile?
Am I too dirty?
Am I too flirty?
Do I like what you like?”

"If they respect you, respect them. If they disrespect you, still respect them. Do not allow the actions of others to decrease your good manners, because you represent yourself, not others."
